Driver Safety & Accountability 

1. Shared responsibility. This agreement applies to every person using this application in connection with driving-related work, regardless of role. By creating an account, you acknowledge and agree to the following. This application provides tools to support safe driving practices, but does not replace each party's independent legal, insurance, and safety obligations under applicable law.

2. Insurance obligations. Employers are responsible for maintaining appropriate commercial auto or non-owned auto liability insurance covering work-related driving performed by their employees, whether in company-owned or personal vehicles. Employees using a personal vehicle for work-related driving are responsible for confirming with their own insurance provider whether their policy covers business use, and for disclosing accurate insurance information through this application.

3. No use of this application while driving. This application must not be interacted with while a vehicle is in motion. The application includes an automatic Drive Mode feature that restricts interaction while movement is detected; users agree not to attempt to bypass or disable this feature, and acknowledge that distracted driving may carry legal penalties independent of this application.

4. Manager oversight. Any user granted manager-level access agrees to reasonably enforce safe driving practices among the employees they supervise, and to report safety concerns to the business owner.

5. Recordkeeping. This application records trip, route, and driving-related data for operational, payment, and safety purposes. This data may be used to support insurance claims, legal proceedings, or regulatory inquiries related to work-related driving incidents.

6. No guarantee of legal compliance. This agreement, and the safety features within this application, do not constitute legal advice and do not guarantee compliance with applicable insurance, employment, or traffic safety laws in any jurisdiction. Each business is responsible for confirming its own compliance with a qualified insurance broker and lawyer.
